Long strands of dark hair fanned out behind her, the tips fading to silver. She carefully pulled the large floating leaf closer to her, bringing the lantern's light to shine over her damp skin. When she was satisfied that it wouldn't float too far away, she sat down, the shallow water reaching her chest. The water was cool on her skin, caressing it in a gentle way.
Thin, delicate fingers picked up the small stem of plant that sat next to the lantern, crushing the leaves between their tips. She lathered up her hands before rubbing it over her skin, giggling at the tickling sensation of the bubbles popping on her pale blue and purple hide.
Lifting a slim leg, she rubbed along her ankle, up her calf and around her knee. The air was cold now that the warm water had warmed her body. Giggling, she placed the limb back into the water before moving further out into the water. Dipping down, she wet her head, wiping water from her eyes.
She spied a rock, a large rock that juttered out of the water's surface. Swimming over to it, she glanced around before nimbly climbing up upon it. She knelled on the top, grinning to herself. "I'm the queen of the rock" she whispered. She said it again, louder this time. When nobody answered, she sang out loud and clear "I'm the queen of the rock!"
